Our Highland Cow Love tea towel has been printed in earthy tones of orange, green and brown and features Cherith’s illustrative design of a parent and child highland cow sharing a tender moment in a big, open field.
The hills in the background are inspired by Cherith’s travels, gazing out the aeroplane window to the fields below she would imagine them as being one big giant patchwork quilt. The colours and textures would always vary from country to country but nothing felt more familiar and welcoming than the fields on her home turf, even if the Scottish weather she was returning to was awful!
This tea towel is part of our Highland Cow Love range. When I designed this collection at the end of 2020 I really wanted to create designs that were wholesome, positive and heart-warming. 2020 was the year we all had to embrace a much slower pace of life and begin appreciating the simple things such as a walk in the park and uninterrupted time with our loved ones. I hope my sweet tea towel featuring affectionate parent and child ‘heilan coos’ grazing happily in lush pastures brings you little bit of joy and feel good vibes to your day.
Made in the UK this tea towel measures 48cm x 76cm (18.9″ x 29.9″) in size. It is made from unbleached cotton and comes neatly folded and packaged in a pretty paper wrap. The tea towel is machine washable too at 40ºC.
